Q: Will my child be fully potty trained before starting preschool?

A: We are here to help. We know that all kids are unique and we offer support and guidance during the process and will reinforce what parents are doing at home.

 

Q: How does WEEKDAYS handle separation anxiety?

A: We are experienced in helping children and parents navigate separation anxiety. We create a welcoming and nurturing environment, encourage parents to establish consistent drop-off routines, and provide strategies for managing separation anxiety. Our teachers and staff offer reassurance, engage children in activities, and establish trusting relationships to help ease the transition.

 

Q: What should I pack for my child's day at preschool?

A: We ask that parents pack an extra set of clothes for their kids, a labeled water bottle, a nutritious snack, lunch, and any necessary comfort items, such as a blanket or special toy. 

 

Q: How can I stay involved in my child's preschool experience?

A: We encourage parental involvement through regular communication, parent-teacher meetings, volunteering opportunities, and family events. Stay engaged by asking questions, attending school events, supporting learning at home, and maintaining open communication with teachers and staff.

 

Q: What are the qualifications of preschool teachers?

A: Preschool teachers typically have a background in early childhood education or a related field. They may hold degrees, certifications, or specialized training in early childhood education. Additionally, they often have experience working with young children and possess a passion for nurturing their growth and development.

Q: My child has nut allergies. How is this handled by the school?

A: WEEKDAYS is a nut free environment. That means no nuts in snacks or lunches provided by parents.
